[Video] Panel discussion "TOKUDYDALI" at UITT'2021

News
At the meeting of travel bloggers and famous travelers TOKUDYDALI within the framework of the UITT'2021 exhibition, speakers shared their experience and knowledge about the changes that have occurred in travel over the past year:
[Video] Panel discussion
  • those who want to travel – continue to travel
  • planning period has been reduced from 1 year to 1 month
  • almost disappeared low-cost and the most of the flights have become more expensive by several times (although there are some destinations, for example, Kazakhstan, where travel has become cheaper)
  • PCR tests. Unfortunately, fake tests that can be bought in Ukraine lead to distrust of our country and negatively affect the opening of tourist borders for Ukrainians. And those who buy tests do not understand the crucial effect of it ("after us the deluge")
  • insurance is better to take for a longer period than the duration of the trip, as there is a risk of take sick Covid. And the specifics of insurance is that you are only treated within the insurance dates
  • The Diia app doesn't work well, especially outside of Kyiv. You would not to be punished if you do not follow the rules of Diia, or even delete it from the phone. The information does not reach the police now (it looks like the queues for vaccination are in the same situation)
  • the rules are constantly changing: for example, the almost instantaneous announcement of quarantine in Turkey - Cappadocia without balloons – is not Cappadocia, and the group as part of the planned tour has already arrived ... Or Kenya's sudden closure – the country had to be left urgently, despite paid tours
  • restrictions which are not prescribed anywhere. Information should be double-checked (for example, transit through Hungary. A week ago you could pass freely, but now you don't, and no one explains the reasons).
  • transit at airports: it is very difficult to find out all the rules
  • changes of hand baggage requirements and changes in meals on aircraft
  • automatic boarding passes in Ukrainian airports do not work
  • reliable source of information - websites and FB pages of embassies. You can also write a letter to the embassy with questions - they answer
  • local hotels are also a good source of information
  • Intriguingly, Iceland accepts those who have been sick, but the results of PCR tests are not taken into account here.
  • certificate of recovery must be issued in accordance with the standards.
  •
    Enjoy it!
