This year, a wide range of companies from Ukraine and abroad competed for visitors' attention. The show featured 51 destinations, including five newcomers: Abu Dhabi, Mauritius, Réunion, South Africa and Azerbaijan.

UITT is Ukraine’s largest exhibition for the travel industry. The event has become a regular meeting place for the industry and an opportunity for destinations to showcase the best their country has to offer to an increasing number of Ukrainian travellers, as well as tour operators and travel agents.

The organisers and exhibitors of UITT, the Ukraine International Travel & Tourism show, have already started preparations for the event, which takes place on 24-26 March 2010 in Kiev, Ukraine.

UITT celebrated its 15th anniversary this year. The event took place on 25-27 March and featured 761
companies from 71 countries and regions. Despite concerns that the economic crisis would affect visitor
numbers, the exhibition recorded an attendance of over 15,000 – an increase of 18% compared to the 2008
exhibition.

The 14th International Ukraine International Travel & Tourism Exhibition, UITT 2008, was held on 26-28 March 2008 at the International Exhibition Centre. The event was organised by Premier Expo (Ukraine), ITE Group plc (UK), EUF (Turkey).
