Flights will be operated in partnership with affiliate tour operator Join UP!. Buying tickets is possible only in both directions with a stay in Sri Lanka for 10-12 days.
The cost of flights starts from 12 127 UAH (equivalent to 446 euros) at the Basic tariff, which includes the carriage of only hand luggage. Tickets with included baggage at the Standard fare cost from 12864 UAH (equivalent to 474 euros).
The SkyUp reservation system indicates that yKiv-Colombo flights will be operated by the Boeing 737-900ER. The airline received its first airplane of this type on October 10, and already on October 11, it began servicing the SkyUp route network.
Since the power of this airliner is not enough for non-stop flights, on the way to Colombo, according to SkyUp, the aircraft will land in one of the UAE cities for refueling lasting 1.5 hours. At this time, passengers will be on the board of aircraft.
Due to the significant duration of flights, which will be 11 hours 15 minutes on the way from Kyiv to Colombo and 11 hours 10 minutes in the opposite direction, SkyUp promises to feed passengers twice free of charge, providing sandwiches and drinks, and then hot meals.
